Watch Party: Rise Up, Sing Out!
Sunday, June 14, 7 PM
Sponsored by Chautauqua Action Team
at the UUCNC meetinghouse
222 Temple St, Fredonia NY
On June 14, the Committee for the First Amendment will host Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment, an uplifting evening of song, solidarity, and action. Featuring an all-star line-up of performers, this 90-minute concert event will celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them.
Even as authoritarians increase their attacks on our freedoms and communities, we see examples across the country of people rising up together, taking action, and turning back those forces.
The event will be streamed with watch parties all across the country—so wherever you are, you can sing along, find inspiration in the performances, build community, and take meaningful action together.

Solstice Gathering
Sunday, June 21, 6:15 PM
at Greystone Nature Preserve (8531 Bear Lake Rd, Fredonia NY)
This year, Father’s Day falls on the Summer Solstice: Sunday, June 21. To honor fathers and celebrate the turning of the earth, a potluck dinner, Summer Solstice ritual, and father recognition will be held at Greystone Nature Preserve, with the potluck supper starting at 6:30 PM.
Please join in! Dress for the weather, as we plan to spend time outdoors and view the sunset if possible.
Bring a dish to pass (with an ingredient list for those with food sensitivities), a musical instrument if you like, and the love and kind words of your good heart.
