February is the month of Love. It has that distinction, probably due to the profound impact of Valentine’s Day. I won’t bore you with all the details and statistics about the so-called “Power of Love.” You have heard them many times before.

We are “in Love” with being in love. Assuredly, the feeling is absolutely overwhelming. It is like the most powerful drug… highly addictive. And yet…we chase the feeling while we seem to ignore Love’s real meaning and Power. The reference to Love occurs at least 320 times in the Bible.

In spite of the reference, we still have very little experience of True Love in our world. In a recent interview, Pope Leo stated that we are becoming more warlike and aggressive than ever before. The score seems to be Aggressive & Competitive 100%, Compassionate & Caring 10%.

We are not headed to a good place. In the most serious sense, Great Religious Movements encourage all to practice Love. Feeling love is cheap stimulation. Choosing to Love with actual actions is the only way to prove the power of Love to change hearts, minds, and planetary consciousness❗

Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me, must be an action…not just a fantasy or word play. So…enjoy a nice piece of chocolate. Toast each other with a bubbly adult beverage….Then act out those warm fuzzy thoughts with solid actions to co-create a Valentine Spirit worth remembering❗
