Sunday Worship Services

From September through June, we provide weekly worship services led either by our part-time consulting minister, a visiting minister or minister-in-training, a lay member of our congregation or a guest speaker from the larger community. For more information, see the Sunday Worship Services link at left or view the calendar at the link above.

Religious Exploration for Children

In Religious Exploration (“R.E.”) classes, our children learn the principles of Unitarian Universalism and practice the role of living in a respectful and compassionate community. Our school-aged class (grades 1-5) meets during the worship service. Loving care for younger children is provided during every worship service. Parents are welcome. If the nursery does not fit your needs, there are borrow bags available to help quietly entertain young ones. In them, you will find soft toys and books for during the service. As their busy lives allow, older youth meet after the service or at other times for the Coming of Age group (grades 6-8) and youth group (grades 9-12) activities. There are special pages just for kids; see the link at left.

Religious Exploration for Adults

We offer adult spiritual exploration studies on topics of common interest. A Chosen Faith and Discover Your Spiritual Type are popular foundational courses. We have also pursued studies in the historical roots of Universalism and explored Life Tapestries, a study giving insights into approaching life issues with a sense of community, spirituality, and creativity. As classes are planned, they are announced at the News & Events tab above and listed on the online calendar.

Social Action

The Social Action Committee promotes justice and opportunity for all people. This is done through a combination of service, advocacy, education and partnerships with grassroots organizations; and by supporting the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) mission to meet needs in the areas of:

  • economic justice
  • civil liberties
  • environmental justice
  • humanitarian crises

See link at left for more information, or for upcoming events see the calendar at the link above.

Social Activities

Our congregation gathers to share in celebration and community with occasional potlucks, group outings, concerts and sing-a-longs, and more. All are welcome! See the calendar at the link above.

Affinity Groups

Small Affinity Groups are one way to strengthen our community as the congregation grows in size. They’re a good place to better get to know others. Visitors and new attenders are welcome. For details, see the Affinity Groups link at left or see what’s planned by viewing the calendar at the link above.
